Preliminary work is being completed to enable the replacement of the Weiss Road Bridge between Rt. 663 and Bauman Road.  The current projected schedule has the contractor beginning in May of 2027 and completing the bridge in December 2027.

The most significant impact for you will be a complete detour while the bridge is being replaced.  The construction itself will involve demolition and removal of the existing bridge followed by complete reconstruction with work hours typically restricted to 7 am to 7 pm.

The lanes on bridge itself will be 28 ft wide and will be tapered down to 20 ft wide on each approach.  The new bridge is designed to modern standards using calculations to mitigate the existing flooding problems.
