Upper Ridge Road Detour
June 23rd Update: Due to weather and subcontractor conflicts the detour has been extended to June 30th.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike has informed us that Upper Ridge Road spanning over the turnpike and Upper Ridge Road at Camp Skymount Road will be closed from June 14th, 2021- June 30, 2021. The short term closure and detour is required to align the roadway and shift traffic onto the new bridge.
During the closure, Upper Ridge Road motorists will be directed to use Finland Road, Allentown Road and Trumbauersville Road. Camp Skymount motorists will be directed to use Swamp Creek Road, Whites Mill Road, and Long Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work zone because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
