The Pennsylvania Turnpike – I-476 will be closed, with a detour, from the Allentown Interchange (A-56) to Mahoning Valley Interchange (A-74) beginning Friday, September 6th at 9:00 PM, and continue through Monday, September 9th at 4:00 AM. During this time, both northbound and southbound traffic from the Turnpike will be following a posted detour.

In addition, SR-309 in South Whitehall Township will be closed between Chapmans Road and Snowdrift Road during the Turnpike bridge replacement work. The SR-309 closure will be implemented between 7:00 PM Friday and 6:00 AM Monday. The attached posted detour will be in place for SR-309 traffic.
